DeMolay International is the worlds largest fraternal organization for young manpower aged primaeval to twenty-one. It is specifically designed to provide a good good environ ment to young men while teaching leading skills. The ultimate aim is to build better young men who will, in turn, become better men, citizens, husbands, fathers, friends and leaders in the future. The rate of DeMolay was founded in March 1919 in Kansas City, Missouri by inconsiderate S. Land and nine young men. With World War I just completed in Europe, many of these young men had no father at home to teach them these lifelong lessons, and thus The Order of DeMolay was born. In addition to being not only a place to rescue fun with friends and Brothers, DeMolay is a tool or resource that helps young men mention out who and what they can be.
There ar seven cardinal uprightnesss that make a young man a DeMolay. The set-back of these is Filial Love or Love of Parents. From birth we are shown that we are loved more by our parents than anyone else, so we hand to return that mother love and father love with attentive consideration, courtesy and respect.
The second is Reverence for Sacred things; even though we teach no religious creed in our target we all rede that we are all earthlike sons.
And we understand that most people even if different in creed respect young men who have strong convictions in their faith, and that know the fact that through God all earthly blessing flow.
Courtesy would be the fourth cardinal virtue; courtesy towards parents, strangers, elderly, and all women and to our friends and all who might cross our paths, do sure that we are putting our outdo foot send on at all times and not just when we represent to try and do our best, but rather to show our best at all times.
