The Protestant Reformation of the 1500s in Europe is seen as a purely economic event, but in fact it was similarly arised by several other turn ups that are equally of importance. Although the largest issue that pushed the protestants over the edge was the fact that the Roman Catholic church service building was constantly demanding coin from them with no benefits to them in return, they were also cerebrate on reforming religion to accommodate humanistic beliefs & of course Kings eventually saw this weakness in unity as a chance to gain land. The different opinions of Worship, being influenced by Humanism, lastly causes many new denominations to arise & that therefore causes the issue of counterbalance of free worship which leads to the Thirty Years War.

Most everyone involved in the reformation was concerned with notes matters, the Roman Catholic church was especially greedy in taking money from the write down class peasants. The church was so absorbed with gaining power & money they sank as low to trickery to take money from others & sacrificed their temperament of being trust worthy & saintly. The people at the trespass of the church had not gained that position by experience or education, but by donating a large amount of money to the church, this act being called simony.



The people at the top of the church would only recite the account book in Latin, & refused to speak the language so the common people wouldnt actually know what the bible required of them & the church would then make them pay tithes that were not mentioned in the bible. One of the churchs king-sizegest money makers was Indulgences, which were tickets out of purgatory, Johannes Tetzel was very big in marketing & selling indulgences to peasants who didnt know any better. ungenerous acts as these provoked people such as Martin Luther to write against the ways of the Roman Catholic church.
