Since I was a kid, I have un poleingly dreamed of going to the United States of America. I was fascinated by the American movies and the History of the country.
I remember, when I was five geezerhood old, I used to watched John Wayne cowboys movies with my grandfather every wednesday afternoon after he would pick me up from school.
In 2008,during my aged(a) year, Alain, a great friend of mine who knew I was so interested in the United States, gave me the idea of going on an exchange student program. I was really excited astir(predicate) that idea, thinking that I would finally discover this country I have dreamed of for so long. As soon as I got back home from school, I talked my parents into it and they said it would be a great experience. I called W.E.P (an exchange student company) the beside day ,and within a few week, by the end of my school year, I already had my Visa and was ready to drop to the unknown continent!
I was so excited and surefooted virtually this exchange that I thought I would send away there and never come back! But pitiful from Belgium, where I lived for eighteen years, away from old friends and family, would be a tough challenge.
I was so anxious about this laughable experience that the last night before my flight, I didnt intermission at all.

I got on the plane the next morning, august eight at 8:30PM at Brussels Airport.
After fifteen hours, I was set down in Nashville, Tennessee. My host family picked me up from the airport and we drove to Gallatin, where I was gonna live for the next ten months. The ride home was cumbersome . Indeed, I could barely speak or even escort English. As the weeks went by, I could speak English more fluently and after three months I could communicate with anybody perfectly.
