Quarter 2 Reflection: fiction vs. Reality
When I entered freshman social class, I didnt know what to expect. Of course, umteen students already in high school will enterprise to scare incoming freshmen; therefore, I had heard a word form of different stories by the first day of freshman year: some that seemed incredibly farthermost-fetched, and some that sounded believ qualified. The believable ones triggered the worry-wart in me.
iodin story in particular that worried me was the legendary full-size workload for IB students. During solely the IB/freshmen orientations I went to, there were always students that verbalize things like, Oh, the workload wasnt that bad. Only approximately 10 hours of formulation a night… At first I theme they were joking, but I began to have my doubts. Although I didnt sooner believe there would be as much formulation as they said there would be, I was concerned about the amount of sleep I was going to be able to get. I have also always had a in truth bad issue with procrastinating. I wasnt entirely positive(predicate) how I was going to keep myself on top of all my assignments, but I didnt want any Bs.
However, the reality was not nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be. It is true that there is a lot of formulation, but it is easier to keep up with than I pass judgment it to be.



The only reason I would have ten hours of homework is if I put off a big attend until the very last minute. I did have issues with procrastinating, but I am learning and adapting slowly. It is very soothing to know that the teachers genuinely do not want to any students to fail and filtrate their best to table service students with time management. They frequently re mind you of deadlines and hand over you basic outlines for bigger projects. They also keep in mind that students have other outside obligations. All in all, it was far from what I expected.
