Lessons Learned by Avoiding the Impossible
Comedic fictional binds commonly argon not intended to scare, or be relentlessly suspenseful for the reader. Unless the book is The Zombie Survival Guide by Max Brooks, which is intended to get a laugh place of the reader. Zombies in popular culture are most believably found in movies, or novels, and are inevitably employ to dissect the contrasting relationship between life and death. This book differs from most golem narratives because author chooses to not inform the reader that it is a complete work of fiction. Describing in great detail, this book embodies real-life scenarios of undoable proportions. After reading it, the reader might question whether or not the existence of zombies is possible. They may also find themselves question what would I need to do to brook a zombie uprising?.
At first glance, this book is a sanctioned how-to guide that is intended to gain information on how to survive a zombie apocalypse. The aesthetics and content are meant to give off the impression that there is no doubt in the authors mind that humans will someday face this situation.
He states the distinction between fictional Hollywood zombies made popular by movies, voodoo zombies from Haitian legends, and the real zombies in which are the subject of his book.
The reason for their existence, according to Brooks book, is due to a virus.
