Inadequate Organizational Structure And Effects
The organisational twist of a business is its foundation and is used to facilitate dialogue and efficient work processes. When problems arise inside an organization, there are systems in place to identify and address them originally they dress disruption in the workplace. If an organizational structure is not optimized or equipped to address these problems at appropriate levels, one essential often travel through multiple layers of management before a decision may be rendered. These organizational structures may need to be reviewed and adjusted or changed. According to Hax, the orthogonal and internal changes call for a continuous adjustment of the organizational structure, in order to insure an optimum handling of strategical and operating activities.
In Hax and Majlufs article (1981) they listed eight of the approximately common symptoms of an inadequate organizational structure. Each of these symptoms must be addressed and corrected to improve the adequacy and ensure the extract of the organizations.
Focus must be kept on the of import factors to ensure the success of the organization. This paper will address both of the seven symptoms and the impact they can potentially have within the organization.
